Akin to technical debt, human debt keeps accumulating when topics to do with the employees have been neglected or frankly, half-arsed for long enough. This is what is holding banks back.
When people learn to recognise their limiting-fear-based-avoidant-behaviour they tend to stop it or -at least diminish it and teams gain Psychological Safety!
